THE BOOGEYMEN GRAVEYARD
URBAN LEGENDS

You heard the stories as a kid.  The facts get changed from generation to generation.  But one thing never changes the legend never dies.

TEXAS ROAD
This is how the story was told to me as a kid but there are different ones out there.
In the 1900's there live a farmer and his daughter on a road called texas road.  One day the farmer came home from working in the feilds just as the sun set to find that someone had beheaded his daughter.

Legend has it that her sprite still walks the fields with a lamp in one hand and her head in the other looking for the man or men that beheaded her.  There is a grave yard on your right and just after is a bridge that you must cross before your really on texas road.
Many say there is a big tomestone that will light up to warn you if she is around and it means do not cross. If you do cross look for a dime light in the fields and if you do, stop your car and wait she will come.  When you see her she will enter your car and put her head close to your face to see if your the one.  You must not hide your face from her or she will behead you.
I have been on texas road many times and have seen the light once and it does get closer but me and my friends didn't wait to find out the rest, chickens we are.
